About NeekoZen

NeekoZen makes one thing: a drug-free calming collar for dogs who spend too much of their lives braced for something. We started with that problem because it is the one where owners are most often told, wrongly, that the answer is more discipline.

What we believe about anxious dogs

A dog who barks through storms, wrecks a door frame or lunges on the leash is not a badly raised dog. He is a dog whose stress response never got to switch off. That is a physiological state, not a character flaw, and it is why obedience training so often stalls exactly here — training speaks to the part of him that makes decisions, and none of this is happening there.

What we will not claim

This is the part we would want to read on someone else's website, so we will put it plainly.

  • We do not say "clinically proven." We have no study of our own collar and we will not borrow someone else's. What we can explain is the mechanism, which is what our product page does.
  • We do not publish a review count we cannot stand behind. Every review on this site was written by a customer. We do not buy reviews, we do not write them, and until we have enough genuine ones to make an average meaningful, we do not print an average at all.
  • We do not run fake countdowns or "only 3 left" bars. If a price is good today it will be good tomorrow.
  • We do not claim it is a medicine. CollarZen is a calming aid. It does not sedate, it does not treat a diagnosed condition, and it is not a substitute for your vet.

Why the guarantee is shaped the way it is

Dogs respond differently, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. So the thirty days are unconditional: email us inside 30 days of delivery and we refund the order in full, with nothing to send back and no form to fill in. A collar has to be worn to be tested, and a worn collar is no use to us — asking for it back would only cost you a trip. The full terms are in our refund policy, and we wrote them to be readable.
